Frequently asked questions

Quotes, proofs, sizes, materials, campaigns and more.

Is a MySignPal quote free?

Yes. Quotes are free and carry no obligation, and no payment is collected on this website.

What is a delivered price?

One total that includes printing, any stakes or hardware you choose, and shipping to your address.

Do I approve a proof before printing?

Yes. Nothing goes to production until you've reviewed and approved the proof.

How fast can I get signs?

Turnaround depends on the product, quantity and the print partner's schedule, plus shipping time to your ZIP. Put your need-by date on the quote form and we'll tell you what's realistic.

Can you help if I don't have artwork?

Yes. Our design service turns your wording and logo into a readable, print-ready layout.

How long will a corrugated plastic yard sign last outside?

Plan on months, not years. Sun and wind are the main enemies. For a season-long or permanent sign, ask us about aluminum or aluminum composite panels.

Are stakes included?

Stakes are usually priced as a separate line item, so we always list them in your quote and include them in the delivered total if you want them.

Do you work with candidates from every party?

Yes. MySignPal is a nonpartisan service and quotes signs for candidates and ballot issues across the political spectrum.

Does my sign need a "Paid for by" line?

Federal candidates generally do under FEC rules, and many states and localities have their own disclaimer requirements. Confirm the exact wording and size with your state election commission; we'll make sure the layout has room for it.

What size rider fits a standard real estate sign?

Most riders are 6" × 24" and hang from the bottom of a listing panel or frame. Confirm your frame or post arm before ordering.

Does my brokerage name need to be on the sign?

Real estate advertising rules in many states require the brokerage name to appear. Check with your state real estate commission and your brokerage's sign policy before finalizing artwork.

Do I need a permit for a business sign?

Permanent business signs often need a permit, and many towns limit the size, number and time period for temporary signs. Check with your city or county zoning office before you install.

What's the most durable outdoor option?

Aluminum and aluminum composite panels are the usual choice for signs that need to stay outdoors for years. Corrugated plastic is best for short-term messages.

What's the difference between 13 oz vinyl and mesh?

13 oz scrim vinyl is solid and gives the richest color. Mesh is perforated so wind can pass through, which makes it the better choice for fences and exposed, windy spots.

Do banners need wind slits?

Cut slits are a common fix, but they weaken the banner and don't relieve much wind. For a windy install, mesh vinyl is usually the better answer.

What do you need from me to start?

Your exact wording, your logo (the highest-quality version you have), any brand colors, the sign size and quantity, and your deadline.

Do I see the design before it prints?

Always. You'll get a proof to review, and nothing goes to production until you approve it.
